Of course downtown is going to flourish. With the LDS church pumping billions of dollars into downtown salt lake, who wouldn't want to be down there.
I hope they have fixed the elevator that scared me as a kid.
It's fantastic that these great old buildings are being renovated and getting ready for many more years of use. Whenever I visit Salt Lake, I like to drive around downtown to look at some of the great architecture that is there. Hopefully, more investment will preserve other great buildings.
