It would have been nice if the story had mentioned that were not or were some deaths or injuries during the deployment.
There were no casualties in this unit.
As the son of Dutch immigrants that were liberated from German occupation during WW II by US troops, I have a little different perspective on the war in Iraq. The people you freed from Hussien control will never forget you. I know it's been hard to be away from your families, but what you've done is a good thing. Thanks.
Welcome Home to Our Heroes.. You did a great job. Thank you for serving our country well. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
It has been a very long year having a loved one serve in Irag! How grateful we are that he and everyone else arrived home safely. Thanks to all you wonderful families who sacrificed so much while your loved ones were away! We know it hasn't been easy because we have sacrified with the rest of you!
THANKS! YOU ARE OUR HEROES!
I was driving the backroads past Manti Tuesday, returning home to Colorado, and saw in so many towns and bergs large banners, very prominently displayed, welcoming home the 145th Battalion. I think seldom outside of Utah are individuals and whole communities so willing to proudly support and appreciate the efforts of our American troops. I'm grateful for you all.
