Protesters flay 'abuses of power'

In scenes that he himself ochestrates, again and again, Rocky/Norma descends the grand staircase and utters the memorable words, "Alright, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up."
Oh, Rocky, frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
I would like to see people discuss the issues he has raised.
It is similiar to Scott McClellon's new book. Instead of calling him disloyal I would like to read some discussion of the issues he has raised.
To me if we are unable to discuss the issues that an individual raises we resort to attacking him or her personally.
I find that to be the case even on KSL.com rather than discuss the issues people resort to personal attacks and name calling.
I would like to read the "talking points" that left the White House yesterday dealing with his new book.
Please no more personal attacks and name calling and more discussion of the issues.
Love you all and I enjoy the trolls.
Scott McClellan is simply verifying what many people who weren't bamboozled by Dubya &CO already knew. When logic was applied to Dubya's statements and his rationale for the Iraq war -- things didn't add up. "I am not waiting for a mushroom cloud over an American city... blah blah blah." Saddam Hussein didn't possess any ICBMs.
For a society with unlimited access to information -- Americans are very ill-informed and unbelievably gullible. They become sheep-like and put aside their critical thinking skills when a likeable and seemingly decent enough person -- like Dubya -- leads them to the proverbial slaughter.
Now with Scott McClellan trying to slap the Dubya partisans out of their sheep-like stupor with what really went on from an insider's point of view -- many are bleating in protest.

Same old bunch of neo-hippies who protest everything and contribute little or nothing to our society.
Rocky needs to move out of Utah and stop giving Utahns a bad name.
This sounds like blind obedience to me
The folks who gathered at City Hall yesterday represented our hopes and our dreams. We are Americans, all of us.
We can do better.
Otherwise we'll be doing the goosestep in due time.
They can't even begin to see how they've been duped.
You spew your venom toward Rocky, while taking no responsibility for the actions of your president. Grow up.
The libs want discussion of issues? As for Bush, if we lose in Iraq, Muslim terrorism will overtake the world. Despite his other faults, thank heaven we finally found a president with the courage to take on terrorism, instead of dodging it as did Carter (Iran Embassy hostages, 1979), Reagan (Beirut Marine Barracks 1983), Bush I (Lockerbie Scotland Pan-Am flight to New York 1988), Clinton (First World Trade Center attack 1993, Tanzania US Embassy 1998, Nairobi US Embassy 1998, and Yemen USS Cole 2000).
Unprovoked? Unprovoked?! Let's set aside the WMDs for a second here and let's remember how many missles were shot at our aircraft that were only enforcing a no-fly zone that was set up after Saddam capitulated after HIS unprovoked attack on Kuwait. Quite frankly, I was surprised at how tolerant we were.
He hasn't suspended habeas corpus.
Has this been a problem for you? Are you planning something against this country that might harm or kill thousands of people?
He isn't water boarding anyone.
And the American lives that were saved from the information garnered from these terrorists are probably grateful.
He isn't spying on Americans without warrants.
Yes, this is an everyday occurrence on typical law-abiding Americans. You need to get your paranoia under control.
He isn't building new nuclear weapons.
As has been going on since we developed them. Isn't it nice that we have a weapon that deters some from attacking this country. You probably would be happy if we stopped producing guns also so that the common man couldn't protect himself from an internal invasion.
His staff hasn't exposed a CIA spy.
A desk-jockey.
The only one who needs to grow up is you and Rocky.

Rocky and Dell Schanze for President and vice president! Who's with me?
I don't think Ringling Brothers would release them from their contract.
I am not a fan of Bush, however the lefts attacks seem a bit over the top. Perhaps you and other libs should read our constitution. The executive branch was set up to be the most responsive but weakest branch of government. The fact that Congress has abdicated its responsibilities is the problem. They have the power to stop/correct every issue the left complains about. Isn't that the platform the Dems ran on 2 years ago? What exactly have they done to correct the problems?
I know a lot of conservatives who blame both the President and Congress for the current problems. For some reason, I cannot find a single liberal who wants to do anything but throw a little tantrum about Bush and be an apologist for the Democratic Party controlled Congress. When you, the other libs and Rocky decide to grow up and start demanding the Democratic party start taking their congressional responsibilies seriously, maybe some of these problems will be solved.
We have a major problem with jailing the public in cases based on lies by the cops and Judges
To many innocent people in jail for nothing
Rocky is right about Human abuse all over this country
You have no longer any rights
Gee, there's a surprise. We already know you are incapable of keeping your mouth shut, so don't act like your obsessive/compulsive media schlepping is some noble trait. It is what it is.
But don't feel bad, Rocky. You are not alone. Your little man syndrome, addiction to hearing your own voice, and skewed world view are all traits shared by another. Maybe you and Dell Schanze can get together and talk each other back into relevancy again. What an entertaining ticket that would be!
Killing people in a war promotes peace and tolerance. And being against war promotes hate and intolerance DUH!!!!!!
FYI Rocky never caused anyone to lose their home,or die in an unjustified war,and cause the country to fall into a recession- he must be the devil and Bush the saint -again DUH!!!!!!!
