Well, without digging into the specifics of the poll and just taking it at face value, these are my thoughts: we figured the day would come, just not so soon.
Still, a poll is not a vote, and an polling question is not a law. But the day is probably soon coming when gay marriage will be legal across the nation.
It's a sad thing to me, but worse things have, do, and will happen. It's a smaller (but more poignant) symptom than some others of a de-moralized society.
All an individual can do is keep raising their voice and casting their vote.
This tolerance by Californians, if true, may well bring the judgment of God on them.
This is California, after all.
Don't people have better things to do than stick their nose into the bedrooms of consenting adults? Who gives a hoot who marries who?
