What a wonderful story. A story every legal and illegal immigrant should be required to read. A story every American should want to read.
Congratulations David Moses. Finally a David of true importance.

What a blessing it is for us to have such a wonderful new citizen as David Moses. I am proud to call you my brethren. Thank you so much for your service to the United States of America. I pray that God will take care of your family left behind. I wish I could shake your hand and give you a heartfelt hug for all you have endured, yet still stand strong and have such faith. You are a true testament to what a true Christian should be. My love and prayers to you and each of your family members. Best of luck with your speech. The Spirit will be with you and provide you with words of wisdom we all need to hear. Bless your sweet heart. I pray you are safe and well taken care of.

What strikes me as most relevant about this story is that it reflects one of the enduring and well-established aspects of American story--the hidden treasure we have in refugees. I would gladly serve in uniform with men and women who adopt this Nation as a chosen home. . . . .in fact, I already do.

I've know David Moses since 1998 in Ogden. Words can't express how incredible of a person he is! He spoke at our graduation ceremony at Weber in 2002, and I will never forget it. I hope his story inpacts you as much as it did me. All the Best Moses!
