Come on Utah quite being the biggest sore sports and losers! I have lived in this great State for 53 years and you know what I have learned in those 53 years. We are sore losers! Be it Our Jazz, the Utes, the Cougs, the Aggies, Mitt Romney, etc. etc. Our religion should teach us to be the best of sports, it is toobad that individuals just can't do it! I guess that is why the LDS church pulled the plug on its huge sports programs that they had from 1930 to 1972. I mean huge all Church tournaments in Softball, and Basketball. They pulled the plug not just because the Church was getting to BIG it was because of the poor sports and the fights in basketball and Softball!
Utah is a great State for what I am not sure, but I do know that Utah is not a second fiddle, it is not in the nature of their religion. Oh, sorry you lost out on going to the Celestial, you go lower. Somehow that just doesn't cut it with Utahn's, and so second fiddle is just not good enough, must be the top or its a failure!

I guess David should not have made that mission comment at his Murray concert...

" One student asked Archuleta, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whether he planned to serve a two-year mission for the faith.

Archuleta responded that it was something he planned to do if he wasn't still doing music."

I guess he GOT HIS ANSWER!!

Something seems fishy at American Idol. Everyone knew that David Archuleta was a one in a million talent---things are just not adding up. Time for another show to start competing.

Are you kidding me? Amazing the assessments some people make regarding the experiences of life. Let's not become like the pharisees and sadduccees of old... come on now. Seriously.

Anything wrong with celebrating the talent of a kid who gave it his all and did quite well? A genuine effort from an authentic and good kid. You really believe you're in a position to evaluate his commitment to his beliefs?
