An easy solution is to repeal the states Right to Work law that employers use to shield themselves from any employee rights. Then Utah needs to create and legislate its own labor laws that are fair to employees and their employers that wlll give employees some rights of redress and job security. The present Right to Work law was created and written to protect business and employers. The burden of proof is on a employee to prove complaints and the state does not do any hands on investigations of complaints by employees. Then this same law prevents employees from filing a class action claims against employers for wrong doing and inappropriate actions against its employees. It means that all complaints are one on one and that other employees having the same issues with an employer can not join together as a group. The only state written labor laws is the Right to Work law benefiting employers to keep employees from organizing whether it be a union or group. This is why an employee can be fired without cause in Utah, and it is very active and prevelant. Employees are cheap and plentiful, especially with the abundance of illegal foreign nationals.
