There is a lot of room for interpretation of this advice.
For example, I consider my daily labor to be service. And I suspect that many others feel the same way.
Also, while some may find "Sabbath music" to encourage reverence, many others may not. Similarly, quiet toys, early bed, and avoidance of video games sounds like a particular set of likes/dislikes being imposed on others.
In fact, I view not imposing my values on others to be a good use of the Sabbath.
I'd rather be a role model for more Christlike behavior - and take any opportunity to help others become more discerning.
