Esther 5:3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
GO JAZZ!!
Sign DWILL!!!
Please resign with the Jazz D-Will. It would suck to see you playing for another team. We also need to keep Millsap. I personally think Williams, Brewer, and Millsap are the future.
Williams (PG)
Almond (SG)
Brewer (SF)
Milsap (PF)
Fesenko (C)

Umm...no
If i were GM i'd be trading Boozer and getting a defensive center for a big man. Okur and Boozer are both good players, but two big man who can only score and not play defense aren't going to get it done in this league. Boozer made Odom look like the All-star not the other way around.
Oh and if Deron Williams leaves, we have no chance. Dwill is the leader and the one who wants it the most. No guts, no glory. Boozer hasn't got any guts.
Keep D-Will, Boozer, Millsap, Korver & Brewer. Use Kerilenko, Memot, Price and offer a car dealership for King James or a stud big man! Why didn't we find a way to get Pau when he was on the list?
Pau along with the amazing trade of Korver would have handed Utah players the prize and their hand would be just slightly heavier due to a ring blinging it in a few weeks!
Oh, and one more thing....I'd gladly NEVER win a championship (and I want one, even several, reeeeally bad) IF it meant bringing someone in to the Jazz who has low class and lower morals. That's one thing I like about Larry Miller AND Jerry Sloan. With those guys, character DOES count. It may be old school but it means more than a ring on somebody else's finger while you chant "we're number one".
If the Knicks don't get a top 5 pick in the lottery, I say that we trade AK, Hart, Collins and our 1st rounder for Marbury and the Knicks' 1st rounder. Waive Marbury and then draft Kevin Love. AK would be a stud in D'Antoni's offense. Love will be a force in the middle and be able to shoot from the outside.
Boozer, man up, or give back some of your money to keep Deron here, he actually works at getting better.
You cannot just look at the overall stats of the season when comparing the two. They are on different teams and in different systems. Had the Jazz taken CP3, there is a good possibility that DWill would be the one with the better numbers.
Lastly, at the end of the game I would rather have DWill shooting the final shot than CP3. The extra 3 inches make a huge difference when trying to get off a shot and DWill is a better shooter (his percentage has been here each year--the only reason Paul averages more points is because he shoots more).
DWill is incredible!!!!
Also, the idea of trading AK-47 to the Knicks is a good one. He would fit D'Antoni's system well. Hopefully Utah will look into options for trading AK to the knicks for some muscle (NOT for Marbury!!).
On the other hand, Williams thrives on playing under pressure, and a max money contract, combined with his second-team all-NBA accomplishment (despite, ironically, not being named to the Western Conference all-star team), will solidify his position as the leader of this team. Sign him up for as long as he wants to play--the biggest no-brainer in the history of earth.
As for AK, he has trade value in terms of talent, but not many teams will take him because his contract. That's why I suggested the Knicks because they want to deal Marbury bad enough to pay for AK. Utah could get rid of Collins and Hart in the process which opens up roster spots for Almond and Fesenko. Plus, we could draft a player like Love and have the money to re-sign Millsap and Miles.
It comes down to this - would you rather have AK in 2 years or Millsap, Miles and a player like Kevin Love in 2 years.
(PG) Deron Williams
(SG) Morris Almond
(SF) Kyle Korver
(PF) Paul Millsap
(C) Fes
We will totally kick butt.
In my minds eye the tradeable players on the roster are:
Andrei Kerilinko
Mehmet Okur
Jason Hart
Jarron Collins
And possibly Matt Harpring.
Expendable players that have trade value:
Kirilenko
Collins (no team will trade to pay him $2 mil unless he's part of a bigger deal - like an AK deal)
Hart (no team will trade to pay him $2.5 mil unless he's part of a bigger deal - like an AK deal)
Expendable players that don't have trade value:
Harpring (no team will trade to pay him $6 mil the next 2 years)
We need interior defense, that doesnt mean overhaul the whole team, If we had somekind of presence in the paint that would help alot. Just venting is all, Whatever the Jazz have on the court, I'll be cheering for! GO JAZZ
It is impossible that the Jazz keep the current roster, sign Deron and Millsap AND stay under the luxury tax for 2009/2010. IMPOSSIBLE. The only way would be to trade someone now or after next season or we lose Millsap or Deron to free agency.
Mr. Rock,
Please, have an original thought sometime.
One trade option could be to trade Hart, Collins and our 2nd round pick to the Nets for Trenton Hassell. He is a great perimeter defender and this trade would allow us to open up one more roster spot. Unfortunately, he would add to the cap for 2009/2010.
Or Utah could trade AK, Hart and Collins to the Cavs for Wally and Damon Jones. That would open up a ton of cap after next season.
Peace out my Jazz Brothers. I will be back to blogging in two years...(Argentina... I will be informed)
