That is not a biblical phrase...its in the Book of Mormon
Both really. Mark 6:23. Has basically the same reference.
Miller could tear down the entire team and build it anew around Williams and the Jazz would be successful. He is the one player who we need to spend his career here. I really like Ak's intangibles but I think we can get so much more value by trading him for an expiring contract and getting a big, tough center to compliment what we already have. Maybe Fez will be that guy but right now we are very weak inside defensively with Memo and Booz. Love their offense but they cannot stop anyone. AK's value is much higher right now than it was at this time last season. It's time to pull the trigger on that one.
Last time I checked, Mark 6:3 was in the bible!
Well said! Give'm the moon, Larry.
The first commenter is correct in that such phrasing is indeed found in the Book of Mormon (the book of Alma). But it is also found in the Bible:
Esther 5:3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
Ester 5:3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
Actually it's in the Bible twice--in Esther (5:3,6)and in Mark (6:23).
Who cares where the verse is found!
GO JAZZ!!
Sign DWILL!!!
This article is about Williams resigning (which may or may not happen) and you people want to debate scriptures? LAME! Fez is not the option. He'll never see the light of day in the NBA. Mark my words.
Please resign with the Jazz D-Will. It would suck to see you playing for another team. We also need to keep Millsap. I personally think Williams, Brewer, and Millsap are the future.
Starting 5 in 5 years:
Williams (PG)
Almond (SG)
Brewer (SF)
Milsap (PF)
Fesenko (C)
Chad, if you're going to make that prediction, I hope, for the sake of the Jazz and all future Jazz fans, that Fesenko learns how to play big. Otherwise we'll run into another big man trying to throw up finger rolls in the waning minutes of our seasons. I'm happy with the rest of your line up, but Fez better spend more quality time with his friends down in the D-league.

Umm...no
There's only a 3 year difference in age between Millsap and Boozer, I'm pretty sure Boozer's the future.
I like Williams, so much that part of me hopes he goes to larger franchise where he can get the recognition and experience (rings) he deserves. With the Jazz he'll always be an afterthought to the other superstars around the league.
Give him all the money in CHINA, And CUT HIM a I.O.U. from the broke U.S.A. $145 Million for 7 Years plus a .25% percent of all LHM holdings. D-Will. He Is UTAH JAZZ. Chris paul cant hold his J-strap, (crap I will bet i cant sat that) GO JAZZ , Oh one more thing trade BOOZER FOR KING JAMES and i promiss we will be champions
WE need a edge, someone to KICK SOME BUTT when it gets tough... alla...THE bIG DOG, or karl malone type , BOOZER plays weak...LETS TRADE AK-47 and BOOZER FOR KING JAMES.......................
If the L.A. Lakers played like the L.A. Dodgers, the Jazz would be movin' on!
... If Deron goes I go with him...
Paul Millsap brings more to the table than Boozer. Sure Boozer can score, but so can a lot of other people on this team. Paul brings energy and toughness to the defensive end, something that many of the jazz players (Boozer) sorely lack. Plus I don't know if you have noticed, Millsap is not afraid of contact on the offensive end of the floor like Boozer is.
If i were GM i'd be trading Boozer and getting a defensive center for a big man. Okur and Boozer are both good players, but two big man who can only score and not play defense aren't going to get it done in this league. Boozer made Odom look like the All-star not the other way around.
Oh and if Deron Williams leaves, we have no chance. Dwill is the leader and the one who wants it the most. No guts, no glory. Boozer hasn't got any guts.
