Utah Jazz: O'Connor: Williams extension is top priority

You are going to have to work some magic to keep the Jazz close to the cap AND get D-Will his max money.
Maybe you could work Sloan into a trade? That would free up some valuable bucks..
Fire/Retire Sloan
and defend the paint and score 10-16 points a game. that is the only thing keeping the jazz from getting over the hump. i know thats easier said than done. i just think we are asking to much from boozer he is a great power forward not a center. you go back in time all championship teams have a good big man. i hope that is where are focus is.
dressed in black for a week now, even my snuggies
are in black...I wonder if this team is really ever
going to get over the hump. I just cannot believe
how badly they played at home and how unfair the
officiating turned out to be. Are we going to learn
five years from now that some ref threw game six,
so the Lakers could win? It sure seemed that way.
I think they should have activate Fessenko...

Let's hope Williams doesn't realize that playing in Utah will continue to cause refs to dis him, and opt to go to another top team where he knows he can get a championship with better treatment.
Deron's the future of this franchise, and it's likely we won't get another draft position that high for a long time, unless his leaving dumps the team into oblivion for a year.
I've been a fan of several NBA teams over the years, and loved both the Lakers and Celtics back in the day (the 70s-80s when they dominated). Magic and Bird were so much fun to watch. Never when rooting for either team (when they weren't playing each other--I rooted for both, then) did I ever feel the refs had general prejudices against the teams or their players. But when the Jazz came to Utah, I was amazed at how lopsided referring was (and is) for them. Even with the respect that Stockton and Malone got league-wide.
