What People do REALIZE, is there can be same kind of
Service with Bus RAPID TRANSIT a BUS only LANE. There not the Cost for CONSTRUCTION of LIGHT RAIL and FRONTRUNNER. There is good BUS SERVICE in Down
Town Salt Lake City and in the Avenues, UTA has DESTROY the BUS SYSYEM in the rest of Salt Lake County. Voters Voted for Improvement in the Transit System not the Destruction of the Bus System. UTA needs to get Accessible Vans and Small Buses to go in to neighborhoods to help Encourage Motorists to take the Bus, to take Individuals to take Main Bus Route or Trax. Motorists want Low Fares and Frequency of Buses in order to leave their Vehicle at home, that should be UTA Goal to help get more Vehicles off the Road, to HELP OUT the ENVIRONMENT. Every time UTA Raises Fares and Cuts in Service Reduces Ridership. We are Loosing our Sense of Self Worth and Family Values due to our CAPITALIST System.
And again UTA will pass the cost along to the consumers in the form of a "fuel surcharge", even though Trax runs on electricity and therefore is not subject to increasing oil prices.
Ask anybody anywhere, if given the choice would they prefer riding a bus or light rail, and the bus loses every time - and by a wide margin.
I really like the Idea of the trax getting new cars,I even think with it expanding to the (SLCIA) Salt Lake International Airport, It will save a lot of time in cars, and traffic wise, I really think that Mas Tranasit is a good thing, I ride it every day, in UT County, everyday, I thnk that the buses in Salt Lake County can get you anywhere you want, any time you want. Good Job in getting us where we need to go on time,
UTA Transit System is Less then Half as EFFICIENT.

Hey at least hes getting us a first rate transit system.
Voters Voted for a Improvement the Transit System not the Destruction of COMMUNITY and the Bus System. What UTA doing to Encourage MOTORIST to Ride the BUS so the can leave their VEHICILE at home to HELP out the ENVIRONMENT. BUS RAPID TRANSIT
is the ANSWER.
Yipee: do you somehow think that the electricity used by Trax is not generated with fossil fuels? Most of Utah's electricity is generated from coal, with only a smaller amount generated by wind or water. Therefore a fuel (that is, energy) surcharge may be quite necessary.
