Comments about ‘Dining out: Baxter's American’

I recently had lunch at Baxter's and it turns out they have an express lunch deal that even beats the Dine O'Round: 3 courses or $9.95. I had a bowl of tomato soup. BLT sandwich and a slice of cheesecake. An interesting take on a BLT,but delicious. I"m thinking this is a best=kept secret because there didn't appear to be a huge lunch rush.

I had lunch at Baxter's today and it was very good. The restaurant is beautiful and the meatloaf sandwich and cheesecake were great. I thought the fries were the best I had tasted in a long time.

I ate at Baxter's last night and it was excellent. I had the Ribs and the cheesecake which were both super Baxter's is as good and comfortable a restaurant as I have been to. I am going to try lunch next week. i'll let you know how it goes. Service was great and the bar is really beautiful.

I've been to Baxter's at least once a week since it opened. I fell in love with the Mushroom Pizza appetizer which for some reason "Baxter" decided to take off the menu. That's ok everything else is incredible, just thinking of the Philly Cheese makes my mouth water. You can't beat the express lunch and the wait staff if the best, expecially the lunch bartender! Sit at the bar and you'll think you are Norm at Cheers.
