Johan Santana pitched the first no-hitter in New York Mets' history, helped by an umpire's missed call and an outstanding catch in left field in an 8-0 victory over St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night.
National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.
Celtics beat Heat
Kevin Garnett had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Rajon Rondo scored 21 points with 10 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 101-91 victory over the Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night, cutting Miami's lead in the series to 2-1.

I like this starting line up, I hope this is what we see right from the get go. I'm still up in the air about Mantilla being on the sideline, but I think our D is solid with and without him.
Hopefully we can get that all important first goal and keep playing attacking soccer. It will be interesting to see how we play on DSG Park, we have generally struggled at soccer specific venues, especially with wing play. Hope we can change that around tonight.
