Why don't we give all businesses tax breaks? However, we don't need more growth here in Utah, having shown already that we don't possess sufficient planning skills to accommodate increased traffic. Therefore, let's put a cap on the number of businesses allowed in Utah, denying business permits to those who pay their employees the least during a five-year period. Thus the top-rated companies, those that pay their employees the highest average salaries, could be rewarded.

Where are the people that complain about any tax break the the oil companies get? This is the same, if not better, than what the oil companies get.

I guess they don't really think that tax breaks are bad, just the companies that politicians and the media think are bad.

Its about time. New Mexico's got more money coming in from hollywood than they know what to do with.

Rich: you don't get it. The film industry does NOT effect freeways or infrastructure... just puts local people to work in good paying jobs. No pollution, no empty buildings from bankrupt businesses, just sheds lots of cash creating lots of taxes from employment that returns to the state coffers. It's win-win and that's why so many states are doing trying to attract the industry.
