Bike to Work

UTA used to have the slogan "Show up to work, ready to work." Biking to work should use the slogan "Show up to work needing a shower and not ready to work."

As much as I enjoy riding my bike on weekends and after work, the whole idea of commuting to work on a bike is completely unrealistic for most people. When I show up to work, I need to be ready for work, not a shower.

It may not be realistic for most people to ride to work but for it is pratical for some and if we went from 2% riding to work to 18% the number who ride in Germany, gas would be $2.00 a gallon and you won't have to sit in traffic in your Hummer
