Finally, someone thoroughly covered this story. The rest of the media is simply reporting that the letter was not received rather than the letter was simply delayed.

There is no way the White House will get involved in this. Willie Jessop will probably receive a response similar to the response given by the governor of Texas, yet he has managed to keep his story in the news.

The website is a good start. If I were the FLDS, I'd add a story including supporting evidence on detained children who are residents of other states and countries. Also, I'd post information on everyone over the age of 18 who is being held along with supporting documentation and photos. I'd post information on couples who have not broken any laws and supporting evidence even though everyone knows these couples were too young to break polygamy or abuse laws and in some cases it was only a matter of time. Most people including me think CPS is right, however, there are probably a few situations where a mistake has been made.

Glad to see Willie has his priorities straight. He drives a Mercedes SUV while the women are represented through legal aid.

The Bush administration will certainly try to brush this one under the rug. If they acknowledge reciept of the letter, that would require a response. There is no credible response defending Texas CPS. The more that this has been investigated, the more public opinion has backfired on this corrupt government entity.
I don't think the public realized how all-powerful this ineffective and damaging organization is. It's coming to light now.
What really needs to happen is an inside whistle-blower to bring CPS to it's knees.
As far as what vehicle Willie Jessop drives:
How does the Pope get around?
How about Thomas Monson?
How is that an issue here?
These parents would not need to be represented through legal aid if Texas CPS had not stomped on their constitutional rights.

Denial is acknowledged

Very smart move by the FLDS, if the White house denies getting the letter they are acknowledging knowing of the situation, its a win, win for the FLDS.
If the Federal Government does not at least investigate into whats going on, all America will know where they stand on Civil Rights.

Plato

Bush flies to the Middle East in Air Force One to beg for oil because the Dumbacrats won't let the oil company's drill and build refineries. I doubt if he even cares about the YFZ situation.

Freedom loving Americans must step forward to save our liberties--Most politicians only care about their careers and re-election strategy.

What's happening to the FLDS mothers and children is truly sad and outragious--more people need to speak out in defense of their (and our)Constitutional rights . . .
