Johan Santana pitched the first no-hitter in New York Mets' history, helped by an umpire's missed call and an outstanding catch in left field in an 8-0 victory over St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night.
National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.
Celtics beat Heat
Kevin Garnett had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Rajon Rondo scored 21 points with 10 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 101-91 victory over the Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night, cutting Miami's lead in the series to 2-1.

My prayers are with you and your family. I hope jordan is taking care of you. I hope all is well with you and your family.
I have known Craig for years and I have watched him teach kids about whats important in life. That life goes beyond softball, basketball or any other sport they are involved in. He has a caring heart for all kids, not just his softball girls. Thanks for being a great example to not only the kids...but some of us "big" kids as well. Congradulations on a great year!
As a Juab fan with very close ties the the softball team, I send my best wishes to Coach Swenson. Although we have had some pretty heated games in the recent past, San Juan has always been pretty classy. If someone had to beat us I would pick the Broncos to be the one. Gennera's dad is a class act as well. I just hope he doesn't have any more daughters coming through the ranks! Good luck to Coach Swenson and God bless.
