Utah Jazz: Lakers Turiaf ejected for flagrant foul

But if the whistle hadn't blown and that same play would happen, it would be a flagrant-1 maybe. I would just call it a good hard foul because they were both in the air.
But the bottom line is, it was after the play was stopped.

Just play the game like men or cry on your knees like women. Oh, wait. Kobe did that already.
Glad to see the Jazz pull this one out.
Thank you, Nancy, for making me smile even moore on May 11th, 2008. I would wish you a happy Mother's Day, but I can only hope that I won't have to. God bless your children.
Also, the way he looked Price down after is an indication of his intent.
Regardless, the outcome is the outcome. The NBA has to have some measure of protection for PG's with the ball going to the hoop to score. If big bodies are allowed to obliterate and bash the PG's into the basketball standard everytime they go to the hoop, the game would deteriorate fast.
I don't think there was alot of malice/intent but he still bounced him way to hard and made no attempt to wrap him up/break his fall when they collided. He was not too disappointed that Price went down.
I am not so sure about suspending him. I have seen alot worse than that. It was not like he grabbed his neck or face so my guess is he will be back on the floor game 5.
Besides the NBA has now figured out that Kobe will need Turiafs help.
The NBA has to maintain their "agenda" at all costs.
Go Jazz!!
