National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

I thought the insertion of Andy Williams into the game around the end of the first half was huge for RSL. The momentum of the game quickly changed to RSL's favor. I love the way Williams handles the ball and distributes his passes. He is very exciting to watch when he has the ball on his foot. He brings energy and excitement to the pitch. I thought he and Beckerman were great together with Andy playing more of an attacking mid. Keep up the good work boys. Here's to beating the rapids on Saturday!
