Eddy Arnold is truly the greatest loss to MUSIC yhe greatest voice God ever gave to a human. I'm n ow over 75 yrs. of age--but I can remember as a boy of about 14, I would get out of school for lunch Eddy"s Purina Radio show would be on WEPM here in Martinsburg, WV I would listen 3 times a week at 12:45 and run back to school when he started his last song on the show. How many great memories I have had thru the years, seeing Eddy in person in my home town was one of the highlights of my life.I have collected all his records, 2 movies and some TV shows.EDDY You WILLbe missed.--Bob Schoppert.

Mr. Arnold first met me when I was about 10 years old back in 1951. My father, Edwin F. Jackson, was a close friend of Mr. Arnold's. My father and Mr. Arnold met during the WW II war years. In 1958 Mr. Arnold helped me to get my first song published and I had a hit song on my hands at the age of 17. Between my father and Mr. Arnold I was taught the ethics of a music career that has allowed me to have never become ashamed of it in any way whatsoever. Thank you, Mr. Arnold, and you will always be Mr. Arnold to me!!
