Santorum knows he is violating his integrity when he speaks about the Massachusetts healthcare program when implying that Governor Romney made the Obama Healthcare plan. Governor Romney has said plenty of times that states are laboratories for programs that might be used at a federal level and Massachusetts did not propose that as the plan for the country. President Obama used that as a plan because his plan was hit and miss and he wanted his plan approved at whatever costs. Massachusetts just happened to have a plan. The federal bill was so much more liberal and a lot more paragraphs, pages and tables/annexes. States try to do a better job in almost everything than the federal government except national defense due to funding and Constitutional limitations.

Santorum knows he has no leadership capability and putting Santorum in, another Senator just like Obama would bring a leadership void, just like with Obama. We canât afford that again. Being a Senator, even though it is a high office, is not leading. It is a 100 person group that makes laws and passes bills and work out differences with the House of Representatives. If he was the Majority Leader that is partially close but not.

The President has to speak from experience, knowledge, expertise and from the trenches. Governor Romney as a wealth of leadership skills and experience for 40 years that would bring an expertise that we havenât had for decades.

We need someone from outside the beltway without the lobbyists on his hip or in his pocket. Romney knows how to persuade conservatives that listen to his message and not closing him out due to his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When Governor Romney says he was a conservative governor in a very liberal state, he was. Santorum and Gingrich both paint Romney as a liberal. These two know that Romney is the best qualified beyond measure and would represent our citizens and country with dignity and integrity. Mrs. Romney would be a great First Lady and be dignified in her dealings with the Presidential responsibilities with honor and a joy to serve others as she has always done. Governor Romney knows about religious freedoms as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints moved to Utah for that reason in 1847.

This is easy: Santorum couldn't win, Romney could.

Santorum loses the independent / undecided / middle-of-the-road voters every time he brings religion too close to government, uses bogus arguments ("Romney is identical to Obama"), or dismisses science (evolution and climate science).

Gingrich can't get female voters, and that's enough to lose an election.

Without the middle voters, no candidate can win. Romney is the only Republican candidate who could get the middle voters if he continues to campaign wisely.

Romney is too moderate... he is Obama Lite. If you look at his politics he really isn't that different from Obama on many issues, especially healthcare.

I am anxious to see a Presidential debate between Romney and Obama... because I have a feeling Romney is going to be saying "I agree with my distinguished opponent." a lot.

The best anyone can do at this annual gathering of the uber right is to get another fraction of a fraction of votes, spread among all the states. I don't think it's likely that voters will look back on the days of GWB with fondness and work for their return. No, not all our problems are solved, but at least our direction is positive. The only thing I hear that these contenders will do is.....go to war again, then try to bring back the 1950's. Mike Lee, for instance, feels that leading means opposing every single thing from the administration. Pathetic.

Conservatives might feel a burning need to put a conservative in the White House. I'm guessing most independent voters don't feel that way.

"Romney is merely Obama-lite?"

Bwa!-HA!-HA!....

Give us a break!

Yeah, Romney is exactly like Obama.

Except that Romney loves America while Obama doesn't even understand America!

And, BTW, nice article title: Romney and Santorum "sell" themselves?

Really? How much did they get for themselves?

Puh-leeeeease, just more negativity from our friendly treasonist mainstream media....
