I am wondering about the difference between those like the prodigal, who come to themselves and do the turning toward home by their own choice--and those like Saul (later Paul) who have no intention whatsoever of repenting or changing and are intervened for and rescued by the Lord anyway, even with no openness, changing, remorse or faith on their own part.
I'm interested to read Jerry's story and find out if he made the first move, or if the Lord did.
