So what you seem to be saying is that the members of the media would allow their personal beliefs to influence the tone of the "news" that they are reporting. Oh my! Say it isn't so!

Yea, verily -- say it isn't sure. The people on FoxNews would NEVER do that . . . yeahrightsure.
By writing this story, the Deseret News is exposing their own conservative bias.
Abortion may be a controversial topic, but breast cancer screenings are most certainly not. I don't care if the KKK offers free breast cancer screenings. As long as that's the only place the money is being used, it's fine. Anything else is just politics.
People had given their time and energy to the Komen Race for the Cure assuming that the organization was non-political. Then out of the blue, they end their relationship with Planned Parenthood over politics. The Komen Executives behind this were staunch Conservatives and internal communications point to political retribution vs the excuses that was given publicly. So the outcry from the populous, reflected in the media, was warranted. This is not about "sovereign rights" it's about one party (the Republicans) meddling with a previously non-political entity. Conservatives have got to stop screaming "help I'm a victim" when their flailing away at their victims. Or getter thicker skin.
Thank goodness for a "liberal media bias" that trades in truth rather than ideological propaganda. Notice the press is vilified by extremists on both the left and right when their respective sacred cows are threatened.
By the way, while the Catholic Church officially opposes birth control its members use birth control at roughly the same rate as all other Americans. Birth control is the most universally employed health care measure today. It's use should be a personal matter, entirely.
We can all agree the Pope and other religious leaders should
not be forced to use birth control against their wishes.
"liberal media bias" AKA: The Truth
Conservative columnists found a 'liberal' media bias? No way!!
It's sad that some believe liberalism is the only truth. Very narrow minded that.
Look up the sentiment analysis (analysis of twitter, facebook posts, etc.) on this topic and you'd see that Komen received overwhelmingly negative comments for their actions. Or maybe we're led to believe that there is also a Liberal Social Media Bias? So when it appears the majority of people feel the Komen Foundation's decision was wrong on some personal, moral, or political level, is that just the bias speaking, or have we started writing off people's opinions as liberal propaganda?
I've had no ties with the Koman Foundation or their Race For The Cure,
but since all this controversy, I have heard so many people who do have connections with their races, or who routinely buy their pink products say (with much irritation, or sarcasm):
NO WONDER they haven't had success for their hugely funded cause for finding a cure for breast cancer---They've been too busy siphoning off the cancer research money for pro-abortion causes,
instead of pouring the money into finding a cure--as they always proclaim that's what they are using those donations for.
By citing The Washington Post's Kathleen Parker shows there was conservative coverage of this dispute. Conservatives think that if there is coverage from a perspective other than their own, there is liberal bias. Conservatives don't want people to have a full and complete picture of any issue.
Here we have a non-profit charitable organization whose stated purpose is to help women with breast cancer prevention being pressured by liberals in and out of our government to pay for killing unborn children! And some don't think there is a government and media sponsored war on religious liberties in America?
