The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) warns Americans that the Obama Admin. amd the main stream news media are cooking the books on this issue! Just saying don't believe everything you hear from the Obama campaign. The CBO says unemployment is closer to 12% and will get worse! But hey, who you going to believe, a lying politician or an organization that has no re-election to try and win?

Do Temporary resources really Work/
Or do they get your information and

The conservatives put all eggs in the gold and unemployment basket. It is ironic and funny how they hate the fact the economy is turning and will be healthy at election time. The real pain will be when the people that were nervous and frightened start selling out of the gold bubble out of the same fear that got them in to the doomsday crowd.

@ Mountanman: I just searched the CBO website, and I can find nothing to support your claim. As a matter of fact, the numbers I did find actually supported this story.

I realize you cannot post links, but perhaps you could post some additional information to support your claim?

"The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) warns Americans that the Obama Admin. amd the main stream news media are cooking the books on this issue!"

Any sort of evidence for that or was that not intended to be a factual statement?

"who you going to believe"

This statistic because it's calculated the same way it has been for decades so 8.3% is the number to use in context with the unemployment rate the past few decades. Apparently conservatives want to include things like the underemployed. Well fine, you can but you must compare that to statistics that also include the underemployed or else you aren't being consistent. Frankly the sad part is that when the economy starts trending in a good direction that people feel free to want to pull a worse number out just to make the president look bad.

That's great news!

During bush years with low unemployment before the 2008 meltdown the left always talked down job creation stating that "job created were not high paying" remember that? Wonder if the same crowd will say the same thing today.

I hope this great news will cause the Occupy crowd go find a job sparing everyone from their mess...

from the bureau of labor statistics

unemployment rate when BO took over 7.7%
current unemployment rate 8.3%

number of US jobs when BO took over - 142,201,000
number of jobs now - 141,637,000

please tell me how a higher unemployment rate and fewer jobs than when he took over spells economic success for BO, especially since this is the sloooowwwwweeeessssssssttttt revocery after a recession since WWII.
