The outcome was hard to swallow but it was a great game to watch. There was a playoff intensity from the start and I thought the Jazz played well enough to win, but missed too many free throws. The difference in the point guard match up was the big advantage for the Clippers. Harris, Watson and Tinsley combined scored 10 points, had 1 rebound, and 12 assists while Chris Paul and Mo Williams combined for 53 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists. In other words we got killed at the point guard position but still hung with the Clippers until the end. Chris Paul was unstopable in this game and the without him the Jazz would be 2 and 0 against the Clippers. I hope the Jazz can use the trade exception and/or draft picks to pick up a strong point guard and with that this team will really be tough to beat.
Great game, but I have to complain and I've been holding my tongue. Do they even have shooting drills? Come on 10 missed free throws and 3 for 11 @ the 3pt line in a 2pt game! So who gets the blame coaching or players? Great game with a awesome team soooo close.
