If being a Calvinist means "de-emphasizing the human role in persuading others to accept Jesus," then Jesus' organization of the 12 and 70 in the New Testament to do missionary work, plus his commission to go into all the world baptizing means that Jesus wasn't a Calvinist either.
I don't see how this can fly very far with Bible reading Christians, including Mormons.
