Wow! What a boatload of signees! Love their bios, can't wait to see some of them in action.
Being in the PAC-12 certainly has its advantages; especially on National Signing Day.
It looks like we'll have 5 guys that will defer enrollment for two years, so we definitely still have room for Moana Ofahengaue, Raymond Ford and Alphonso Marsh, three of the higher-rated recruits of this class. All indications show there is a good chance of them choosing Utah later tonight.
Yep stg, you got five guys that have essentially decided to defer their real decision another two years. If the Utes non-start another couple of seasons they just might change their minds.
How many stars did Tenny end up with now that he's decided to go Ute? ZERO to three by a stroke of pen? LOL!
Add Moana Ofahengaue. Utah killed it in-state this year.
Alphonso Marsh just committed. Although, he's gonna have to learn Kyle's name is Whittingham, not Willingham. Welcome Alphonso, Coaches Whit, Sitake, Hill and Scalley have a good reputation with DBs, good to see another up for the challenge!
sammy, you can spare me all that talk because I wasn't the one saying Palepoi was a "zero" star recruit. And it wasn't with the stroke of a pen, it was when they got around to evaluating him, which happened to be before he committed.
As for that "real decision" garbage, that seems like pretty blatant disrespect to five athletes who have just had a lot of pressure off their shoulders from family and neighbors by finally signing a NLI and can finish up their schoolwork and get on with focusing on much more important work than playing a game. Excited to have 28 young men ready for a great experience in Salt Lake City!
Hey StGtoSLC,
You seem to know all the statistics. Tell us how many tattoos and long mop brush hair?
What I appreciate in this years recruits is their emphasis on schoolwork.
Student athletes like these have really boosted the reputation of the athletes putting the Utes high on their list because of the academics. Good to have you up on the hill.
Kudos to the coaching staff for signing Student/ athletes.
It's good to be a Ute !
