my ward sports director told us the very same thing last saturday when we were losing to the 4th ward.
How many more times are we going to get this same comment. Go throw something on the floor.
At some point you have to ask is it a complete lack of talent or coaching?
If it's simply a question of staying focused or not playing hard, that responsibility rests squarely on the shoulders of the head coach for not knowing how to motivate his team.
It's looking more and more like Dr. Hill struck out, again.
Aren't the the same posters that stated out with:
1- Utes won't win a game all year (will challenge BYU's 1-25 team for worst ever in the state)
2- OK so they won a game but they won't beat a D-1 school
3- Couple more wins but they won't win a conference game all year
So what's next?
The coach was left with very little in the cupboard and had done well to get to 5 wins. To say he is a failure is, to put it mildly, very premature.
