To all the doubters, CJ has been better than everyone on the team except Millsap the past 6 games. Now if Jerry Jr. would give him more minutes and sit Bell.
It would appear that in spite of the sarcastic writing of Mr Hollis, that the young man did impact the Jazz game last night. It was not an ordinary Jazz games against a team with a poor record. Their was excitement in the air at ESA last night. Too bad it had to be broght to town by a player on another team, but regardless, it was there.
The game should have been a Jazz blowout win. They were the better team and stepped up accordingly, but the underdogs felt the excitement too and almost pulled off the upset.
On the money side of things, their is little doubt that the Jazz are actually grateful to the young man because he brought a sellout crowd to the area. Would not have sold out without him. Most likely there would have been 5 to 6 thousand empty seats. But the Jazz got their sellout and a much needed win. And the crowd, got a very exciting game down to the last shot.
Good night for all, except for maybe Mr Hollis.
Excellent play by Milsap and Miles was productive hustling and pushing the action by driving to the rim. Good to see Hayward shooting more...if he can be another guy who can hit the 15 foot jumper a la Milsap, things will open up more for the Jazz offense. Like Harpring was saying on the telecast, there is space in there at times for shots. Disappointed to see offense again slow down with Jefferson in there in the fourth quarter. I think the Jazz could have pulled away if Favors had played more, but that's how it is. Sacramento's Evans is amazing going to the hoop, but Jimmer was solid, too.
Oh yeah, enjoyed watching Burks hustle and score. He hit a couple long shots and moved from the corner quickly to get a high offensive rebound and dunk the basketball, too. I like his passes too...he, like Hayward, passes with good touch.
BURKS > JIMMER
