"They're no worse than we are," Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak said after the loss. "Sure, they haven't won a game but we're not elitists. We've got a long way to go."
huh? What exactly has a team that's only won 5 games to be "elitist" about?
Krystko is starting to sound more and more like Boylen with his out of touch with reality comments.
Yfan, that's why he said "we're not elitists." For clarification, "we're not elitists" does not mean "we're elitists." It's stating something obvious for the sake of rhetoric. How is that "out of touch with reality"? Sounds like someone who has a definite grasp of reality thanks to the constant media reminders.
"They're no worse than we are,"
No kidding coach. They just beat you.
LOL!
This game was a bad loss on a list of many this season. I think coach K has a perfect grasp on the reality of the situation of this team. He stated they have a long way to go and he is right.
I just hope this team can stay together and work at getting better. We already have better talent coming in next year and with a couple of the young guys getting more minutes than they expected with Jiggy's dismissal, I think they will be much improved next year.
Hopefully they can regroup and get a win this week at home.
