"I think it's in the back of everyone's mind that there's certain teams that the stars have to line up perfectly for us to be able to beat and there's other teams where we have more of an opportunity," Krystkowiak said. "But we don't talk about it. I think everybody just kind of knows it."
Ironically, USC is probably thinking the same thing about Utah.
rim shot!!!
This game has serious implications in term of conference standings. I'm sure the entire sports world will be watching every bounce of the ball. This could be the biggest game the Utes have ever played.
phoenix, pretty sure they covered that, saying: "USC is thinking the same thing, he added, noting there's some similarities between the the programs."
StGtoSLC, pretty sure it's something worth repeating.
The 336th and 341st worst scoring teams in the country both need a tiny glimmer of hope.
Good luck tonight Utes - I would love to see them pick up their first road win.
To all the usual coug fans with the typical posts - you should keep your focus on your own opponent for tonight's game. We know the Utes are down and so is the PAC12 for that matter. We get that - it's nice to be reminded of that on every single Utah article.
As often as you all throw out rankings on how bad Utah is, please remember that the PAC 12 is still rated higher than the mighty WCC.
Did any of you notice where college game day was this morning - I will give you a hint, it wasn't on the campus of any WCC team. As much as you all knock on the PAC, the fact is if the cougs were in the PAC with their record, they would be ranked in the top 15.
Go Utes!

Quit hiding behind the skirts of your conference; nobody cares about the conference bottom dwellers.
The top of the WCC is better than the top of the PAC 12, and Utah would be at the bottom of both.
Top 3 Teams in the WCC (Pomeroy/Sagarin)
#27/#21 Saint Mary's
#29/#29 BYU
#31/#27 Gonzaga
Top 3 Teams in the PAC 12
#21/#23 California
#46/#54 Arizona
#56/#82 UCLA
#192/#173 USC
#309/#298 Utah
btw, that "mediocre" ACC team BYU beat on the road earlier this week,
#51/#52 Va Tech
would be 2nd or 3rd in the PAC 12.
Go Cougs!

This coming from the guy who reminds us of the quest every time with his moniker.
Do as I say not as I do, right QP?
