I was born and raised in Pa. Sat through many a Penn State game and watched Joe pace back and forth, white sox peaking out below his trousers. They became one of his trade marks. I will never apologize for my respect and admiration of this man. He was a good and giving man, giving most of what he earned back to society and the University. He lived simply and followed his passion, which in turn helped many. I pray for the young men who were wronged by Sandusky and everyone who failed them, first Sandusky, anyone else in the community who knew and did nothing or covered it up and I include the parents. Society failed these young men for sure. I include Joe in this list also. All should have done more. However I refuse to forget the good this man has done. Utah is now my home. I want to tell you how wonderful it was to read this article from someone who did not have Pa ties to this man and still understands.Thank you.
