There will be some for whom this will not work but for the vast majority of people...put your mind to it and learn some self control. I've lost 50lbs over 2.5 years. It's been slow but I've been consistent. 20ish more and I'm done, I'll then be at the top of the bmi for my height. Just get to it and don't expect to lose it all in 6 months. Have attainable goals along the way. Join something like Weight Watchers. Quit snacking and eating out as much. Make lifestyle changes that are sustainable. Drink water, no more soda. Just do it!
