The real problem with SOPA and PIPA is that they are a machete to the problem of
online content protection where a scalpel is really needed. It's like stopping
abortions by outlawing pregnancies. Sure the job gets done, but at what cost?I am really surprised that YouTube and Facebook haven't gotten more
involved with this, as those sites thrive on user generated content and SOPA
could shut them both down in a heartbeat.
