We have campaign fiance laws for a reason, to keep politicians or businessmen from buying the presidency and this Romney kind of political powers out of elections. With a second intention and purpose, to give underfunded citizens and non party affiliation citizens the right to run for president as an equally worthy candidate. One thing I would agree with discontinuing is the tax form donation check boxes.
The intent of campaign laws is to limit the power of money in an election. My thinking is their should be more regulatory control of campaign finance and spending limits.
