Comments about ‘Elder Snow appointed as new LDS Church Historian’

Marlin Jensen is one of the finest men I've known. His spiritual strength and humility are great attributes to emulate.

A fond farewell wished to Elder Jensen. A great selection in Elder Snow to be his successor.

I have had the privilege of serving part time in the Church History Library for a few years. I have never met a more Christ-like individual than Elder Jensen. He will be greatly missed!

I now know I'm getting old. I remember when Elder Jensen was sustained, and that was 23 years ago? Wow! He, indeed, has served the Lord, Church and membership so well, including the last few years as the Church Historian. Good luck to Elder Snow, incidently another attorney by profession, as he assumes these duties. The church is blessed to have such capable leaders.

Thank you, Elder Jensen! You have been an inspiration both when we served in the Frankfurt Mission and in the Family History Library.

I am glad they are giving them plenty of time to transition from one to the other. It is sad to see Elder Jensen go, but I am sure we will see new and exciting developments with Elder Snow.
