I'm loving Earl Watson! Not only for his energetic play on the court but what he says in interviews. It doesn't sound canned/phony (Boozer) and shows leadership and insight. I'm so glad the Jazz kept him. This is getting way fun!
Go Jazzboys tonight on the road!!!
Ditto on Watson VL, and don't think that pro-Watson comments here during the off-season didn't help sway Watson to re-sign. He admitted as much (thanking Jazz fans for their support) in an interview shortly after he re-signed. If you look at next year's projected top draft picks, there is a paucity of point guards. I believe that the Jazz may target a SF in the draft and go the trade route for a PG, but for now, the Jazz have 5 players who could play the point if necessary (Harris, Watson, Tinsley, Hayward and Burks).
I think there are about 9 or 10 in this years draft who would have gone in the top 3 last year. I like Rivers, Barnes, Jones III and McAdoo.
