In a society where gun rights take precedence over human rights, extreme violence is glorified in movies and video games, illicit drugs are rampant and drug addicts and mentally ill people go without treatment, tragic events such as this will be a recurrent issue whether it is in Ogden or Mt. Pleasant.
I would suggest you wait until all the facts are in. I'll bet more cops were shot by other cops than the suspect. One has to ask why such an armed raid was carried out on a man suspected of growing marijuana (legal in other states), with no history of violence? BTW- the overwhelming majority of Utah lawmakers continually vote to make Utah one of the most liberal gun states in the US.
