While politicians on both sides are certainly guilty of hateful rhetoric, Democrats appear to actually believe theirs -- things like asserting an inherent Republican desire to kill 8,100 Americans, that the rich pay too little in taxes, and that shrill, irrational dissent is the only true form of patriotism.

So, it seems unlikely they'll be persuaded to adopt civility any time soon.

Incredibly un-self-aware true believers, like Mr. Giteau, Ms. Boxer, Mr. Obama, and Ms. Clinton, as well as WAY too many other Democrat Party leaders, are the real scary people in this political farce. When they make their wild, unsupported political claims, they give, not the slightest hint that they apprehend how ludicrous they sound.

As bad as it was, the Arizona shootings were not enough to shake people away from their vitriolic hate.

As much as people deny it, if you spout off with revolutionary rhetoric you have part in whatever that brings.

If a person truly belived all the lies told in the last 3 years you would have to be crazy NOT to take action. So who is really responsible, the liar or the self purported patriot?

There so many left wing political references wishing (including Biden and John Kerry) their opponents death or violence that it is very myopic to blame one party. If it supports your fantasy, you'll probably continue but leave the rest of us out.
