All the hazing aside . . . it's gotta be tough for the rookies wondering how they are going to spend their huge paychecks.

That is except for Hayward who evidently hasn't changed his spending habits much.

Losing is a bad enough rookie tradition. Hayward and Favors did it last year, and Kanter and Burks are doing it this year. Instead of making the Rooks carry kid backpacks, maybe we should get them to carry the team once in a while. The only ones getting hazed are the fans. Hayward especially is disappointing so far, so much wasted potential, we expected more after the flashes we saw at the end of last season. Was there no carry over?

I know this is suppose to be a feel good player interest article but I'm kind of tired of these kind of cotton-candy articles. It's what pundits write when there's nothing good to write about how the team is playing. The game that the young players had against the Sixers was encouraging, especially the play of Hayward and Favors in the 4th quarter. Got our hopes up again, only to have them dashed the very next night. It's tough being a rookie, but it's tougher being a Jazz fan right now.

It may be an old tradition.

But it's hazing, plain and simple.

And it's stupid.

If I am that good it woould be in my Contract that I would not do that stuff.

If I am that bright a light I am not going to go around acting like a dim bulb.

Its insulting to be 22-23 hopefully with a College Degree and being paid several hundard thousand $ per year to put a Ball in a Hoop for at most 9th place team. 1 and 2 pic usually make the team weather they need to or not. That leaves out some people that perhaps should have made the Team. The Air is very thin at that leval. MIllions start out each year and only a handful make the NBA and some of that is doubtful.

I knew an outfielder who was a AAA lifer got a few cups of Postem in the Show, but his highlight film where always of mistakes.

Yea it's hard setting on the bench and watching the veteran players lose by 20 every night.
