Thank you Jim Boylen for gutting the Utah program.

Ok, maybe I was wrong...it won't get any easier in Pac10 conference play!

At least no one was able to watch the game. I'm still holding to the idea the u will get two PAC 10.2 wins this season.

It is crystal clear by now. Chris Hill must go.

Ray Giacoletti - Strike One
Jim Boylen - Strike Two
Larry Krystowiak - Strike Three

Please don't bore me with the same old stuff about how Larry needs more time to fix the mess left by Boylen. This is as tiresome as the nonsense about Barack Hussein Obama needing more time to fix the problems left by GWB. LK was a horrible hire and most lucid observers knew it at the time. Giving him more time just means a deeper hole to climb out of. 33 points. 22% shooting. Against a team like Colorado which is a perennial non-factor. Inexcusable and unforgivable.

Chris Hill deserves credit for his many accomplishments at Utah. And it is hereby given. But he also must be held accountable for destroying the basketball program.

Not that basketball mattered in conference realignment but it looks like PAC-12 expansion didn't add much on the basketball side? Utah's basketball team has to be one of the worst teams in the country. Kind of wish Utah was on UNLV's schedule. It would be another easy win for the Rebs.

Actually, a lot of people could watch the massacere on ROOT TV. I did. It was uglier than the press reports - couldn't believe the number of Ute shots that simply would not go in.

I agree with that a major portion of responsibility lies with Boylen for the state of the program, but U cannot let Coach Kry off the hook without any responsibility.

There is enough talent on the team to make a better showing than this. It's the coaches responsibility to motivate the players to play hard (like U did against BYU) and put together a game plan that gives your players the best chance of winning.

I didn't expect U to beat Colorado, but I expected a better game plan and more effort. If U are going to continue to play like this, U should throw in the towel for the year, not just the game.

I'm trying to figure out why anyone had any hope?

Josh transferring to BYU was a sharp move. The utes might be better of forfeiting the rest of the season.

What happened to the "resurgent" Utes we were hearing about?

Usually I like to talk smack about Utah, but it is soooo embarassing now that I am actually feeling bad for Utah now...I agree with the comments about Dr. Hill...he hasn't done anything for Utah...he did not get Urban Meyers here, Urban saw it as a stepping stone on the back of a program built by coach Mac...did Hill keep him, no. The continued success of the football program is because of coach Whitt...not Dr. Hill...the hire of coach K is Hill was his choice...and now Utah is reaping what Dr. Hill has done...Dr. Hill did not get Utah in the PAC twelve, he road the surf into shore and had no imput positve or negative...

Basketball will be great at Utah again, but first Dr. Hill must go.

Just how horrific will this train wreck be? The rest of this season will tell a huge story. This year could make or break the U's sport's life. U have already shown that u have chosen to be a one sport university and this year will put it's mark on that for the nation and recruits to see. With the rising of WSU, BYU and USU in bball, the u has NO chance of getting the state's talent in that sport. In state talent will start to shy away as the u consistantly finish's in the bottom third of the pac 12 south.

Sorry u fans, that is just the facts and I know it is hard to swallow, but time will prove me right.

Seriously, I have enjoyed the ragging on Utah's basketball team as much as anyone, especially after hearing that finishing 8-5 is better than finishing 10-3 when 8-5 gave 10-3 a beatdown, but then I guess Iowa State just beat Stanford last night as well, but as shown by the number of posts even the hecklers get tired when a team is that bad.

I sincerely hope that Utah starts playing like they belong in the NCAA and not some schoolyard. I've seen kids get worked over but play their hearts out and win the admiration of all, and a solemn wish from their foes to never play again due to the effort required.

Good luck Utes, try to represent Utah's work ethic.

Being one of the 5 "Utah by 5" fans who attended the game....I have to say that my deacons are better than the U!
