Duckhunter:Uh oh...this article stated that the Sun Bowl's
attendance was 48,123. And it sure looked packed from where I was sitting too.
That's up a bit over last season's 41,923 attendance at the Las Vegas Bowl. Did
you read what the attendance was like at the nobody-cares bowl in Dallas? I
did. It was 30,258. That certainly wasn't very impressive, was it? Whatever
happened to this alleged "national following" and "superior
fanbase"? Because it sure didn't play out that way last weekend. Or last
bowl season either. Attendance at the New Mexico Bowl was only 32,424. Was is
it with the cougars and their 30K postseason attendance trend? And
what is with you laughing at Utah's Sun Bowl attendance before the game was even
played? How embarrassing for you to find out that Utah's Sun Bowl was MUCH
better attended than that bottom-tiered mid-majorey bowl game in Dallas.
Hey College football--what up?Have you played in 10 or more bowl games? If
so--you should strive to win them as often as the Utes do. Because the Utes own
the best bowl win percentage of any team that has played in 10 or more bowl
games. Get it? If you played in 10, that's pretty good--not everyone has--but if
you have---your won loss percentage in those games isn't as good as the Utes!
Still scratching your head? Okay, I'll break it down for yall. If you have
competed.........(I hate to go on and on--but this is a pretty wonderful bowl
I don't understand all of the fuse about the logo. It's nothing different than
what FSU does with the Seminole tribe. As I understand it, the Ute tribe isn't
against the Ute's using their name and doesn't object to the drum and feather
logo, so what is everyone up in arms about. The current logo is as
distinctive as any in all of sports, college or pro. It should remain.
