Jerry Sloans assistant at half time and during timeouts sounded way more sensible than did Corbin after the game.
The team played crazy and over its head it seemed but came out on top. Will be hard to beat a great competitive game like that.
Kanter is tentative and deliberate in offense, yet clears the boards fearlessly. Too bad this kid did not get to play college
Now the Jazz just need a starting small forward, so they can play Hayward at his true position of big guard. Hmmm, isn't a certain player by the name of Andrei Kirilenko still available as a free agent, and don't the Jazz have some salary space available under the luxury tax cap after trading Okur for a "valuable trade exception" and a second round draft choice. And, whereas Kirilenko is a Jazz free agent, can't the Jazz sign him even if they don't have salary cap space, as long as they have luxury tax space. Just some food for thought.
Josh Howard can still play the 3. He'll be fine and Evans can back him up. I like Kirilenko but he sits out of alot of important games with little injurys.
I think we could find some much better SF prospects in the draft next year. Perry Jones, Harrison Barnes and Terrence Jones are all gonna be studs in the NBA. I say we just wait it out and get one of those guys next year. We're not doing anything this year anyway.
