Ooooh, I love reading this, seeing all the lines that will cause our envious relatives to foam at the mouth. I'll admit it right up front: 75% excited for the game, 25% already laughing at the silly things the kids will say.
Tulsa got basically blown out by 4 good teams.
BYU lost by 10 to a good team, by 1 to another good team and got blown out by an average team. Tulsa did put up an average of about 21 points in their 4 losses so I would guess BYU better score at least 27 pts if they want a good chance of winning.
Go Cougars!
Absolutely! Both teams have so much in common. The biggest commonality being that both teams play well against bad competition. Both are underachievers.
How's that UVSC grad, Y dad?
The men's Basketball loss will carry over onto the field today!! BYU once again will be looking for a conference to adopt them, hoping it's sooner rather than later. Craig Thompson has been spotted in Texas and has been laughing hysterically!!
By the way, I took 10 minutes to watch St. Mary pounce on the Cougars and thoroughly enjoyed seeing a BYU banner hanging from the rafters at the High School gym last night!! City League basketball is really getting competitive!!
Here's hoping that Tulsa and Georgia Tech win. BYU and Utah fans are the worst. Neither has anything to brag about, but both sound off about how great they are. PAC 12 football teams are getting crushed in bowl games, yet Ute fans think the PAC 12 is the best. BYU fans think that winning 9 games makes them great, yet they are barely an average college team. Get over yourselves neither program is revelant on a National Scene and the rivalry on a National recognition level wouldn't even be close to top ten.
They forgot the most eminent thing that the two schools have in common:
They are irrelevant nobodies that the nation doesn't want in their conferences playing for some copter bowl that only BYU/Tulsa fans will even care to watch. (Except Tulsa, at least somebody wanted them.)
Sad to say, but I think since the transferring of Mr. Heaps and the loss last night of our basketball game, we might lose this one.
So now we get UVSC smack from PAC12Fan? Let me tell you about my son who parlayed a UVSC business degree into a BYU MBA and a six-figure management job with Simantec in Silicon Valley at the height of the rescession. This is not a brag, it is only a response on the (irrelevant) topic of UVSC. His buddy graduated from UVSC with acceptances to Columbia and Georgetown law school.
It's not so much the institution that creates the education, it's what the student puts into it.
The offense is going to have to settle down a little and focus. Were it not for a fortuitous offside penalty, it could have gotten ugly early.
Falslev came to play. Let's hope it's contagious.
Interesting article. The team that turns the ball over at key times will lose this game. Tulsa's big mistake right before the half my end up being the biggest play of this game.

Can't argue with that.

Luv 2 Troll U, careful my friend. Utah beat Tulsa in this same bowl in 2006, and I was happy for that bowl win.
