I ll miss Okur ! But i know NBA is a business and Trading Okur was on the cards from a long time . Glad , We got a trade exception and i would like to see it being used this season only to land a Superstar ....so that we don't have new players apart the draft picks in the lineup to take time to gel for the next season .
I would be happy if KOC do something good to turn this team Worth-watching next year .
KOC ..better look for Bad teams looking to trade away their superstar for Cap relief .
GO JAZZ !!
Teams Looking to start Rebuilding should be KOC's next target . Last time ...it was Minnesota .
The only good news about this trade is that the jazz must be feeling good about Kanter's ability to at least be the #1 back up at the center spot. Even though he hasen't scored a lot I love his aggressive play in the post. As much as he battles inside he will also be on the line a lot and how great is it he makes free throws.
The bad news is Gordon Hayward is the only 3 point shooter that anyone will have to respect, and this team will bring new meaning to defending the middle for opposing teams.
Unless CJ finds some constistancy, Howard gets his shot back from three years ago or Burks shows that he can nail 3's trading for a true 3 point shooter is a must.
Too bad they didn't snag the Jimmer. He would make it a well-rounded (although young) team that has a lot of potential.
@Hoopty6 .....I don't think Jimmer is worth No3 Pick and he was already gone at No12 , so your clause doesn't make sense . Also Alec Burks is regarded to be one of the best SGs in the entire draft.
Probably a good move but Memo will be missed. Always a class act and very cool guy.
Love Memo, but it was time for the Jazz to move him. He is getting older and his minutes will be very short this year on a compacted 66 game schedule with his new team. (that is if he doesn't end up injured). The Jazz are in a state of flux, where anything is possible. The new guys needed more minutes to gel in to a cohesive unit on the court, and with Memo around eating up those valuable minutes, it just didn't make sense to keep him. Farewell Memo, this fan will miss you...
Could we please put the Jimmer thing to bed?? He is not here, he won't be here so let's move on..

You're so far off base, you must live in India.
I miss Larry Miller. I think he would have found a way to make a team whole, instead of all this constant trading. It's like they trade just to do it and all our best players play for other teams now. Part of being a fan is relating to the players and they just keep changing. Is it always going to be this way?
