This is the sort of editorial / article that I missed and had admired from Mr. Evensen over the years. Please Continue writing these instead of the forced feeling, snarky articles such as On second thought. The Deseret News editorial page deserves better.
What an interesting article. i rememher having a bunch of those 91 pound radios in an old house my parents purchased. Somehow, each of those big, beaautiful radios were either given or thrown away. Real shame. That was in the 1970s or early 80s. Wonder how much they would be worth today?
