Two very impressive games for Carlino. I think he's going to be very good.

After the Baylor game, I was bashing the shooting guard position before Zylstra and Winder accounted for about 1/2 of our points against Buffalo. That was a pleasant surprise. I'd love to see the two of them continue to light it up. I'd even be happy with a consistent 20 points from the two of them.

Any updates on Austin? Was his elbow injury serious or just a deep bruise?

Having gone clear across the country to play bball at a school I had not played at before I know how tough it is to "fit in" and find your place. But with the talent this kid has and just the attitude of this team I have no doubt that Matt will do just fine. As he becomes more comfortable, he will show us what he's got I believe we are in for a treat the next few years.

Nate is very sore, but practicing as of yesterday.

Carlino will be great if he will just settle down and play in the offense. I thought he had a bad game against Buffalo and he almost got a triple double!
