It's a winning streak!

Well this is good news for a program that appeared to be spiraling down , down , down.

As a Utah citizen I hope all the in state programs do well. It reflects well and helps with the general perception of Utah and what it has to offer.

They might not be the worst team in state history after all. Close I'm sure, but not quite the worst.
I'd love to see a win over Weber State and see that momentum help them continue to win maybe 4 Pac 12 games.
After how the year started, a 7 win season would have to be deemed a success. Well, success might be the wrong word for it.

Looks like Utah got their first win over a WCC (Wannabe Conference of Champions) opponent before BYU did this season. lol.

Come on dude, don't stoop to what they said to us during football. That not being a fan at all. They beat us, they have bragging rights, just like us for football this season. Just comment about the Utes, don't be a hater, be a fan. Go Utes, way to keep improving!

Nice job Utes! Keep showing improvement.

Congrats Utes on beating two teams who are ranked 300 or lower. I hate to break the news to you, but U have no other teams on your schedule who are ranked this low. Whether U like it or not, U are still a team who is also ranked 300 or lower. Get ready for a long losing streak ahead.

Is a win over Portland really something for Ute fans to be prideful about? I as much as anyone else loved seeing Utah win their last two games, but really? we are still 3-8...Hopefully the Utes are figuring out how to win, and continue doing so.

As unimpressed as you are over Utah's recent successes vs. a few of the absolute worst teams in the country, perhaps you just may finally get a glimpse of how unimpressed Utah fans continue to be regarding your over-hyped "9-win" WAC-lite Football triumphs.

At least WE didn't quit.

@ Naval lint,

The season ain't over! We all know that the utes "quit" last year by having so many players leave the program. If that ain't quiting, I don't know what is, so don't even go there. Oh and don't worry about how unimpressed utah fans are regarding our football 9-win season. WE are really impressed with your win against the mighty buffs of CU on your home field. Now that was impressive! ! !

@ Eddie

I find it quite pathetic from Y fans that parade behind another team that has success in beating the Utes such as Colorado, when BYU continues to fail to get the job done themselves.

It's been nice to see the guys playing more like a team. I think they are starting to get a feel for each other and hopefully will continue to improve. In these last two games different players have stepped up each time and that's what has to happen for a team without any true stars.

Wow. Very important win over a very tough, tough Portland Pilot team!

Re: Bleed Crimson "Looks like Utah got their first win over a WCC (Wannabe Conference of Champions) opponent before BYU did this season." Enjoy getting more than buried in the Pac 12 with no sniff of the NCAA Torney or NIT. LOL. We'll keep a sit open for you during the Tourney Selection. This will be 6 years in-a-row.

Re: PAC 12 loves U "I find it quite pathetic from Y fans that parade behind another team that has success in beating the Utes such as Colorado, when BYU continues to fail to get the job done themselves." Hmmm. Interesting. I guess we're just returning the pleasure of what so many trolls post about Cougs sports teams. I've been amazed at the amount of interest trolls give to our Cougs. Not that, to me, is pathetic, my friend.

@pac loves u thts funny cause more byu trolls comment on utah articles thn ute fans do. you cant even not talk about them on your own article when utah isnt even mentioned. now that, to me, is pathetic my friend.

Hey tattoo U, two in a row. Unbelievable, wonder when we will see that again.

Well if you thought THAT was impressive, just wait until you've had a chance to watch that 44-pt vivisection our Utes did to those mid-majorey cougs on YOUR home field!

"Looks like Utah got their first win over a WCC (Wannabe Conference of Champions) opponent before BYU did this season. lol."

Kinda like the way BYU got a win over the PAC 12 before Utah did. The only difference is Utah got a 6 point win at home vs the likely 4th best team in the WCC where as BYU destroyed the Ducks on a neutral court.

At least Utah's win brought the PAC 12 record vs the WCC to .500 at 4-4. Good for them.
