I like the bowls despite the fact that none of them really matter to anyone
other than the fans of the teams playing in them. I am not so sure I would like
a playoff. To me they are all pretty much the same, just two teams trying to win
for the sake of winning and I like that. Yes I know some like to pretend they
mean more than the others do but in truth other than the one played to crown the
supposed National Champion none of them really matters any more than any of the
others. But for some reason I simply love to watch them and have watched all of
them I could all of my life. I really hope they stay.
@ Patriot, who cares if only USU fans and Ohio fans care? I'm sure Ohio is glad
they won, and as a USU fan, I'm glad we got to a bowl. Although I agree that
some form of a playoff (maybe a +1) is good for the BCS, this game had nothing
to do with the BCS. If you want to criticize the BCS fine, but go do it towards
Alabama or Virginia Tech. No need to rain on our parade.
Fantastic, DRAMATIC photos!Kudos to Jeffrey D. Allred for taking
some of the most awe-inspiring photographs I have seen this year. Make sure you take the time to view them, they really tell the story of the
Unfortunate loss for Utah State, still right in it. Now what, because they went
to the bowl game- it brings a lot of credibility to the program. Have they
arrived?? With one or two solid recruiting classes, moneys being poured into the
program- Utah will have three solid D-1 football programs. Keep it up,
definitely going in right direction. Like McBride, Andersen the key to success
in D-1 football Utah; 1. In State players, 2. More Polynesians on the team, 3.
Accepting LDS Mission kids(Promoting the state culture, and it more mature,
Christian living young men bring stability to the team.
Good game till the last 2 minutes, the aggies let off the gas when they had a
chance to take a 4 or 5 touchdown lead, and got bit in the end. Enjoyed the
game, didn't enjoy the way it ended.
The Potato Bowl!! Really?? I would be embarrassed to say I played in such as
joke of a bowl. There are way too many bowls that mean absolutely nothing. You
win - you lose - who cares other than perhaps some of the fans of the 2 schools.
A playoff is the only answer in college football. The BCS is just a good ole
boys exclusive club that really pales in comparison to March Madness in college
basketball. College football remains broken.
