Jordan Loveridge is a man among boys. Orem put up a good fight, but in the end they were just another opponent who pretended to contend. I wouldn't be surprised if West Jordan went undefeated. Congrats Scott Briggs..
Congrats, hope they remember that the season's just begun.
I give WJ credit. They deserved to win. I also give Orem credit. They most certainly contended. Down 3 with 30 seconds to play shows that.
Loveridge says all the right things about his teammates. Good for him. 3 or 4 big-time teams this year in the state.

Couldnt have agreed with you more except on the flip side, WJ was too was just another opponent who thought they were State Champs without having to PLAY... Hats off to the boys at Riverton!!
@pingpong_playah88 - Hey the State Championship is a long ways away. Keep it in perspective. This article was about WJ winning the Great Western Shootout, not losing a State Championship. I do give Riverton props for coming out and playing tough, but look at the big picture. That game was West Jordan's 4th in 6 days, it was Riverton's 2nd in that same time period. Advantage Riverton. West Jordan was undefeated and had everything to lose, Riverton was coming off a two game losing streak and had everything to gain. Advantage Riverton. Beating opponents by 30 plus points a game is far from not playing. Keep watching. The season is far from over.
